Happy Halloween my F(r)iends!
Don't forget there are thus far only TWO more opportunities to see Yours Truly in 2014!
Join me THIS SATURDAY and kick your NaNoWriMo off *write* with the Inside the Toy Box Workshop 1 p.m.
Saturday November 1!!!
Come out and see how to use Everyday Things to Inspire Character
Personality, Create Literary Depth, and Top Off Your Novel! Be prepared to let your hair down, play
with props, and see everyday things thru your character's eyes in this
informative and interactive session! By getting in touch with your
manuscript's needs via physical objects, you can create more depth,
dimension, personality, and emotional connections with your characters
and readers. Learn how to finalize your
novel with sights, sounds, feelings, and sensations and see your
literary world in a whole new light! Following the workshop will be a write in session, so feel free to bring your laptop, connect to our free WiFi and stay awhile!
You can register at the Library's Page Here: http://www.bcls.lib.nj.us/calendar/writing-workshop-nanowrimo#.VDSLdJK_lRM.facebook
Fate and Fangs is ending the year as we started - the Inside The Toy Box workshop was also done way back in January with the South Jersey Writers Group. You can read up the great follow up post on their blog.

Tis the Season!
Happy Autumn my fellow Nocturnes!
I'm still neck deep in a much needed writing sabbatical, but as this is the season for all things macabre, Fate and Fangs: Tales from the Vampire Family will be making a few appearances this season!
Thanks to the New Jersey Authors Network, you'll be seeing myself Jennifer Eaton, Stefani Milan, and Brian McKinley for the Paranormal Authors Q&A Night 6 p.m. October 16 at the Maple Shade Library!
http://njauthorsnetwork.com/
Of course, October is decidedly packed with plenty more events, including the Witches Ball, Collingswood Book Festival, NJ RWA Conference, and the Laurel Springs Monster Bizarre. But never fear, we're starting November off right with two more appearances!
Saturday November 1 I'll be presented my Inside the Toybox workshop as part of a special NaNoWriMo series at the Cinnaminson Library, and the following Saturday November 8 is the 2nd Annual Autumn Authors Fair at the A Novel Idea Bookstore in Vineland!

Summer Vampire Hibernation!
Sunshine Greetings, my fledglings!
Catch The Vampire Family while you can next week with the New Jersey Authors Network! I'll be on the panel for the "So You Want to Be a Writer" seminar 6 p.m. Tuesday June 17 at the Heggan Public Library in Sewell along with Jordanna East, Jane Luder, Jennifer Eaton, Brian McKinley, and moderator Laura Kaighn.
http://njauthorsnetwork.com/
After that, however, this vamp writer is going to be neck deep in editing and more manuscripts, so we're on slim pickins for appearances until September! This will be the first major break I've had in promotions and events since the Fate and Fangs: Tales from the Vampire Family series began way back in 2011! I've already slacked back on events after a particularly kooky winter, and I certainly need the hibernation, because October is already packed, packed, packed as always!
Remember you can stay up to date and join in on the Family fun at our Facebook page!
https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Vampire-Family/157922293588
And don't forget all of the Vampire Family books are available in ebook and kindle formats on Amazon! Big linky....

New Year, Same Old Vampires!
Shake thy dust off and arise into this sunny but frigid New Year!!
Just because our official Fate and Fangs:Tales from the Vampire Family book tour ended before the holiday that doesn't mean that we won't still be making *a few* literary appearances in the coming months!
Snow and polar vortices notwithstanding, we're set for the Inside the Toy Box workshop with the South Jersey Writers Group January 16!
http://www.meetup.com/South-Jersey-Writers/
Are we plotting for the insanity of Monster Mania and the Liberty States Writers Conference? Maybe!!
Of course, there will be some mayhem with the South Jersey Women Authors as well, and upcoming New Jersey Authors Network appearances are in the works for April and May in Maple Shade and Woodbury.
